Panelboard submittal checklist (Section 26 24 16)

Panelboard submittals are mostly tables and ratings, and one wrong column is enough to send the package back. Check each panel schedule against the product data.

Ratings

• Voltage, phase, wires, main bus rating and main breaker or main lugs, per panel schedule.
• Short-circuit current rating of the assembly and the interrupting rating of each breaker, fully rated or series rated as the spec allows.
• Neutral rating, including 200% neutral where specified.

Construction

• Bus material (copper or aluminum) and plating.
• Enclosure type (NEMA rating), surface or flush mounting, door-in-door trim if specified.
• Spaces, feed-through lugs, surge protection and metering options.

Documents

• Panel schedules with breaker sizes and poles matching the drawings.
• Listings to the standards the spec names, and field-test or warranty requirements.
